Local election commissions are reminding voters that the state’s early voting period begins Friday, July 13 and goes through July 28. Early voting is for the August 2 federal, state primary and county general election.
Any properly registered voter may cast a ballot at the election commission in their county of residence.
Early voting hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with Saturday hours from 9 a.m. to noon. The Saturdays during this early voting period are July 14, 21 and 28.

In Obion County, the Election Commission is located at 308 Bill Burnett Circle in Union City, with phone number 731 885 1901.
The Carroll County Election Commission is located at 625 High St., Huntingdon.
In Benton County, the Election Commission is at 113 Maple Ave., Camden. Stewart County’s Election Commission is at 110 Natcor Drive, Dover; and the Weakley County Election Commission is at 135 S. Poplar St.
