Paris, Tenn.—A Paris woman was arrested on drugs and gun charges following a traffic stop.
Farrah Stewart, age 44, of Hwy. 79N, was charged with possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of meth, possession of a controlled substance (pills), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the report from Paris Police Officer Jamie James, Stewart rolled through a stop at the intersection of Memorial and Fairview and when he stopped her he noticed she was breathing heavily. He said she then told him she had a gun.
With consent to search, James found a container with two glass meth pipes, two bags which tested positive for meth, a pistol loaded with five rounds and a container with 13 pink pills which were Clonazepam.
Stewart is being held on $35,000 bond in the Henry County Jail.
