Huge Crowd On Hand For Back To School Bash

Becky Holland of the Family Resource Center said there were 48 volunteers helping, which included numerous students from Inman School. Volunteers have been working for the past several months organizing packets which included the supplies that were needed in every grade level at every school for parents.
Tennessee Highway Patrol Lt. Brad Wilbanks and Sgt. Barry Whitten were on hand with a truck cab which rotates to demonstrate what happens when vehicle occupants are not wearing their seat belts. Air Evac landed one of its helicopters on the grounds and gave tours.
Other agencies with booths, giveaways and games for everyone included the Paris Fire Department, Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office, Paris Police, Board of Public Utilities, East Wood Church of Christ, W.G. Rhea Library, Henry Co. Schools, Youth Villages, Henry County 911, Office on Aging, Henry County Extension Office and many more.
