Queen Alyssa Wade To Reign Over Henry County Fair

 
Paris, Tenn.—Before a large crowd at the Henry County Fairgrounds, Alyssa Wade was crowned 2018 Fairest of the Fair Saturday night.
Wade, who is 16, will reign over fair week along with her court: First Maid Roezona Godbott; Second Maid Elizabeth “Hope” Hutson; and Third Maid Elizabeth Paige Alexander.
Wade is the daughter of Albert and Renea Wade of Paris.
Godbott, age 17, is the daughter of Greg and Valorie Godbott of Paris; Hutson, age 18, is the daughter of Chris and Kim Hutson of Buchanan; and Alexander, age 16, is the daughter of Monica and the late Levi Alexander of Springville.
2017 Fairest of the Fair Alison Reagor was Emcee for the evening and in her farewell remarks as queen, she told the court to “have fun, make new friends and get involved.” Reagor said winning the pageant opened up many opportunities for her and said her future plans are to study at the University of Memphis toward becoming an occupational therapist.
