K9 Adora Tracks Woman Missing After Car Drives Off Roadway

Paris, Tenn.–Thanks to Henry County Sheriff’s Sgt. Wayne Fuqua and his K9 Adora, a Paris woman who was lost after her car drove off a roadway on Sunday was tracked and found. This is one of several times that Adora has conducted successful tracks.
The incident began when Deputy Gary Carroll responded to a call of a car in a field near Old McKenzie Highway and Spring Hill Road.
According to scanner traffic at the time, Carroll found a Nissan Altima off the roadway with one of its blinkers flashing, but the driver was not in the vehicle. Deputies found the name of the driver in the car. Deputies and dispatchers began contacting her relatives and friends to see if she had contacted them. Deputies began searching through the field and a nearby woods for the driver.
Sgt. Fuqua and Adora arrived at the scene and after a short track, Adora took deputies to Townsend, who was away into the field. According to the report, the driver, Holly Townsend, was confused and was evaluated by the Henry Co. EMS.
