Paris, Tenn.–April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the Henry County Women’s Resource & Rape Assistance organization will hold a special event at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3rd to honor those impacted by sexual violence.
A proclamation will be issued by county officials followed by the walk around the court square. The proclamation will be read inside the courthouse on the first floor, at which point everyone will move outside for the walk around the courthouse.
Katie Noles, Sexual Assault Coordinator for WRAP, invited the public to attend and encouraged everyone to wear teal.
