Union City Police Department Press Release –
On 03/25/2019, the parents of two Union City High School freshmen reported that their children had been assaulted by six individuals during an incident of “hazing”. The event allegedly took place on 03/22/2019, while the children were returning from a soccer game on a Union City High School bus.
An investigation into the assault was conducted by the Union City Police Department as well as the administration of the Union City High School. After interviewing the parents and children involved, the Union City Police Department will not be filing charges in reference to this incident. The administration of the Union City High School has since handled the discipline of those involved.
