Martin, Tenn.–A bicyclist suffered minor injuries after being hit by a car Tuesday afternoon in Martin.
Martin Police responded to the intersection of Skyhawk Parkway and Hannings Lane around 4:45 p.m. to find that a 2016 Hyundai Elantra had struck a man on a bicycle.
Martin Assistant Police Chief Philip Fuqua said the vehicle was operated by Brittany Underwood, age 35 of Union City and the bicycle was operated by Cameron Mason, age 21 of Jackson.
Martin EMS did respond to the scene and checked the bicyclist for minor injuries, but he refused to be transported. No injuries were sustained by the driver of the car. Investigation continues by . crash re-constructionists Officer Trae Vaughn and Officer Scott Diehl.
