Union City, Tenn.–A visit to any of the three Union City Schools campuses Thursday confirmed the calendar was indeed correct. It was Halloween!
Many students, teachers and administrative staff at the three schools dressed up as various characters or in themes to celebrate the occasion.
There was even a game of Ghost Hunt in the elementary PE classes of Bill Kail, Tammy Harris and Antawn Coby.
At Union City Elementary School, several students actually used the day and their costume ideas for a second purpose as it was deemed favorite literary character day.
A number of teachers tied in their dress with lessons from the new CKLA curriculum at UCES, including those who teach 2nd grade and wrapped up their classes study of Greek mythology.
