Buchanan, Tenn.–In an effort to restore native grasses and support its native pollinators, the Tennessee State Parks West Tennessee Fire Team worked with Henry County Forestry and the Paris Landing Volunteer Fire Department Tuesday to perform a prescribed burn on approximately 30 acres at Paris Landing State Park and at Camp Hazlewood. Park officials said, “We are looking forward to restoring these areas to benefit our local biodiversity and our native wildlife.” (Paris Landing State Park photo).
