Update:–Power is now restored to members in and around Union City and Troy and between Obion and Rives who experienced an outage this morning. The outage was caused by a squirrel in the substation. Crews responded quickly and were able to restore service within about ten minutes.
Troy, Tenn.–Gibson Electric Membership Corporation currently has three outage locations affecting 1,752 members in and around Union City and Troy and between Obion and Rives. Crews have been dispatched and are working to find the cause. More information will be released when the utility finds the cause.
