Four Arrested On Trafficking Charges

Farmington, Ky.–An all-day investigation into methamphetamine trafficking in and around the Farmington area has led to the arrest of a Farmington man, a Paducah woman, and two Nashville men. A semi-automatic pistol, cash, crystal meth, and a bullet proof vest were seized.
Through this operation, investigators were able to identify the source of meth coming into the Graves County from the Nashville area.
Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden said the investigation culminated Tuesday morning at approximately 9 a.m. when a search warrant was executed at a residence located 8212 State Route 121 South which is located in the Farmington community of Graves County.
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, and federal agents with the DEA.
During the search of the residence, two persons were located inside: 37-year-old Jeffrey L. Mohler of that address and 23-year-old Kealy M. McCalester of Paducah.
Approximately two ounces of crystal Methamphetamine was seized, along with a semi-automatic pistol, cash, drug paraphernalia, baggies, and other items. Both Mohler and McCalester are convicted felons, and McCalester is currently out of jail on bond from Lyon County on an outstanding drug charge.
As part of this investigation, sheriffs detectives and DEA Agents were able to identify the source of the methamphetamine that was being introduced into the Graves County area from an individual that was from the Nashville area. Investigators also were aware that the Nashville suspect would be delivering more crystal methamphetamine to the Farmington community later on Tuesday.
Hayden said a surveillance operation was conducted on a residence located in the Farmington community and at approximately 7:41 PM, two suspects arrived both from Nashville: William H. Alexander, age 22; and Dyjuan L. Bowers, age 21. They were found to be in possession of approximately 8.45 ounces of crystal methamphetamine that was being delivered to that location.
A bullet proof vest was also found in the vehicle they arrived in. These two suspects were immediately taken into custody without incident by sheriff’s detectives from Graves and McCracken Counties, as well as DEA Agents.
All suspects arrested are lodged at the Graves County Jail. This investigation is continuing.
