Mayfield Teens Arrested After Jumping Out Of Windows To Escape Capture

Mayfield, Ky.–Three Mayfield teenagers were arrested on burglary charges after they jumped from second story windows to flee the scene while the burglary was in progress.
Mayfield Police responded to a call of burglary Friday afternoon at the Garden Apartments. According to the press release, witnesses told officers the three teens were confronted at the front door of the apartment by the resident’s mother. The resident of the apartment was at work.
All three teens jumped from second story windows, and fled the scene. One of the teens, 18 year old
Kenneth Hendrix, was observed by an officer and detained.

Through investigation, police developed the names of the other two suspects,
one being a 16 year old juvenile, and the other being 18-year-old David Cobb
Jr.
All three teens were interviewed, and confessed to the burglary. Kenneth Hendrix and David Cobb
were lodged into the Graves County Jail. The juvenile was charged, and sent to the McCracken County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
