Grand Rivers, KY. – Kentucky State Police have received information that Timothy and Brittni Smith, suspects for armed robberies in Adair County and Livingston County in Kentucky, were arrested in Illinois. At this time, Kentucky State Police are unsure of the circumstances surrounding the arrest, but the Smith’s are being held on the Adair County warrants and crimes committed in Edward County, Illinois.
Warrants were issued for the couple, who are from Evansville, following the armed robberies last week in Grand Rivers and Adair Co. In Grand Rivers, the couple are wanted for the armed robbery at the BP gas station.
The investigation continues by Trooper John Gordon.
