Union City, Tenn.–Tickets are on sale for the inaugural Robert E. and Jenny D. Kirkland Discovery Awards Gala and Fundraiser Dinner at 6 p.m. Sat., March 7 and awards dinner at 7:15 p.m. Hosted by Badgett Playhouse Director Bill Minihan, the elegant event will feature a silent auction, live auction and entertainment.
The event will bring together thought leaders, policymakers, philanthropists and others to celebrate the winners, all of whom have deep roots in West Tennessee.
The 2020 Robert E. and Jenny D. Kirkland Discovery Award winners are:
- Kevin Coby, Annapolis Junction, MD (President and CEO of SITEC Consulting LLC in Maryland)
- Carl and Alice Kirkland, Jackson, Tenn. (Founders of the Alice and Carl Kirkland Cancer Center in Jackson, Tenn.)
- Stephen Vaden, Washington, D.C. (General Counsel for USDA)
- Jon and Jaimie Robinson, Nashville, Tenn. (Co-chairs of the JDRF Promise Gala and he is general manager of the Tennessee Titans)
