Union City, Tenn.–A Humboldt man was arrested Thursday and charged with several purse-snatching incidents in Union City.
Union City Police Department arrested Jesse Scott, of 1644 Poplar Street Humboldt, for theft.
According to the press release, this is in connection to incidents reported January 26th, 27th, and 28th at Union City Walmart where an individual stole or attempted to steal purses from customers while shopping in the Walmart store.
Jesse Scott will be arraigned January 31, at 1 pm in front of Judge Jimmy Smith at the Obion County Sheriff Office court room.
The Union City Police Department would like to remind citizens to always pay attention to their surroundings and never leave personnel items unattended when in any public place.
