Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warning to all local businesses to be on a heightened alert as a recent rash of counterfeit money has been reported.
Captain Adam Jenkins said early Thursday a local bank had informed the Sheriff’s Office that they had received multiple counterfeit $20 bills which had been passed to local businesses. “We would advise all employees of businesses to use all means to be sure the bills they take are legitimate,” he said.
