Henry, Tenn.–A Memphis man was struck and killed on Hwy. 79S near Henry late Wednesday night.
Tennessee Highway Patrol Lt. Brad Wilbanks said Peter Wisocky, age 58, was killed in the accident that happened around 10 p.m. at the intersection with Pioneer Road.
According to the report, Wisocki was standing in the middle of the roadway in a curve and was struck by a 2016 Mack Truck driving southbound on Hwy. 79.
Driver of the truck was Anthony McElroy, age 49, of Mansfield, and he was not injured.
