Paris, Tenn.–Three people were arrested on drug charges–drugs that include heroin and meth ‘ice’–by the Henry County Metro Crime Unit after a traffic stop Thursday. Charges also include possession of counterfeit money and possession of drugs in a drug-free school zone.

Deputy Haley French’s K9 ‘Xoey’ provided assistance by alerting to the drugs inside the vehicle.

Officers stopped the vehicle driven by Tayler French for a traffic violation and made contact with two others in the vehicle: Joshua Wallace and Cassandra Santana.

According to the press release issued by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy French deployed Xoey who sniffed the vehicle and alerted to the odor of narcotics. The vehicle was then searched and Metro officers recovered felony amounts of ice and heroin, baggies, digital scales and other packaging materials.

French was charged with possession of heroin, possession of meth with intent to sell in a drug-free school zone. Bond was set at $125,000.

Santana was charged with possession of heroin and Wallace was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was seized.
