Vacant Paris House Destroyed By Fire

Paris, Tenn.–A vacant house on Brewer Street in Paris was destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon.

Paris Firefighters were called to 608 N. Brewer St. at 12:36 p.m. and found the two-story house fully involved. The house has been vacant for several years and is located a few blocks from downtown.

Cause of the fire is undetermined. The fire was still smoldering into the afternoon and firefighters said they will continue monitoring it.

Three trucks with seven firefighters were at the scene until around 3:30 p.m.
