Paris, Tenn.–A stolen rifle was found in Kentucky Lake by two Paris residents who were dragging with a magnet.
According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office report, the two were dragging the bottom of the lake at a pier on Port Road when they hooked an object. They pulled the magnet out of the lake and found it was attached to a rifle.
Sheriff’s Lt. Lance Perry determined by checking the serial number that the rifle had been earlier stolen in Henry Co. The rifle was a Ruger 10-22.
