The tournament in Bulgaria in which Paris Boxer Cam’ron Patton was set to complete has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus scare.
Patton currently is training at the Olympic Training Facility in Colorado Springs where he will remain until he is finished with his high performance camp. Patton is the National Boxing Champion and had qualified for the Olympic Training Camp and had been selected to travel internationally for the USA.
In a statement issued today, officials at the Paris Downtown Boxing Gym said, “We are very disappointed that the Bulgaria Tournament was cancelled due to the Coronavirus. However, we do appreciate everyone looking out for the best interest of our kids. We are hopeful that another International Trip will be scheduled. Cam will finish out his High Performance camp at the Olympic Training Facility and then head home. We are so proud of him and will keep everyone updated.”
