Martin, Tenn.–Weakley County Sheriff’s investigators are investigating the discovery of two people dead of gunshot wounds Wednesday morning.
Captain Randall McGowan said a 911 call was received by dispatchers at 10:54 a.m. reporting someone had been shot at 250 Rogers Road north of Martin. Deputies arrived at 11:05 a.m. to find a man and a woman deceased inside a garage.
McGowan said both bodies have been sent to the medical examiners’ office in Nashville for autopsies.
The incident is under investigation but sheriff’s investigators don’t believe that there is
anyone else involved in the incident, he said.
