All spring sports activities scheduled for today for Union City Schools teams have been postponed due to inclement weather.
Some events have already been rescheduled.
The UC-Westview baseball game scheduled for Friday in Martin will now be played at Elam Stadium, the varsity game beginning at 6 p.m.
Today’s UCHS tennis match with Westview will now be played Friday at the Fairgrounds courts. The UC Middle School tennis teams already had matches scheduled at the Middle School courts against visiting Augustine.
Union City Middle School’s soccer opener – scheduled for Tuesday against Paris Inman – will be played Friday at War Memorial Stadium at 5:30. Today’s postponed match at Crockett County has not been rescheduled.
The UCHS soccer team will play tonight’s postponed match Friday night, immediately after the UC Middle School match.
There has been no make-up date set for the UC at Dyersburg softball game, which was postponed from today.
The UCMS girls’ basketball banquet, scheduled for tonight, has also been postponed until Thursday, Mar. 19.
