Paris, Tenn.–Effective immediately City Hall will be closing to the public to avoid any unnecessary contact. Employees will remain at City Hall and will be assisting everyone by telephone or email.
The Dispatch Office will continue to operate as usual. Most of their communication is by telephone or electronic. Any interaction they have with the public is behind glass which means they already do not have direct contact with the public.
Addtionally, the City has made arrangements for credit card payments (2.5% fee will apply) that can be transacted over the telephone which includes both the City Business Office as well as Police Records.
