
Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man was arrested by Henry County Sheriff’s Deputies early Sunday morning on charges of aggravated assault, domestic assault and resisting arrest after an altercation.
Jason Raspberry, age 44, of 9225 Hwy. 641 S, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. Sunday by Deputy William Whitaker. Whitaker and Sgt. Blake Jenkins were called to the scene of the dispute and were informed by a witness that Raspberry had attacked another man.
The deputies found Raspberry in a bedroom and he reportedly refused to follow any orders. According to Whitaker’s report, Raspberry refused to walk and officers had to drag him to the patrol car.
The report indicates that Raspberry had choked the other man during the altercation.
