Humboldt, Tenn.–As of now, plans are full steam ahead for the 83rd annual West Tennessee Strawberry Festival, set for Humboldt May 3-9.
Organizers told RadioNWTN that a final decision on whether to hold this year’s festival will be made April 13, but as of right now, planning continues for the event, which is always held the first full week of May.
Humboldt city workers have been busy placing signs promoting the Strawberry Festival in the city, the magazines are available and all the activities held along with the Festival are being organized. The Governor’s Luncheon is set for May 8 at the Humboldt Medical Center.
Elsewhere, the World’s Biggest Fish Fry in Paris is cancelled and the Iris Festival in Dresden is postponed until July.
