Beginning Monday, meal delivery will shift to Mondays and Thursdays.
Updated Modified Bus Route Delivery
Effective March 30-April 23
When: Mondays and Thursdays beginning March 30 – April 23 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Where: On the modified bus routes near many of the normal bus stops.
What: Henry County School System bus drivers will be delivering three days of breakfasts and lunches to families. Students will receive three breakfast meals and three lunch meals each delivery. Remember to refrigerate the extra meals!
*Never approach the bus while it is moving. Buses cannot stop on main roads for food delivery. Watch for the bus to come near your home and wave at the driver to let him/her know you would like to receive the meals.
If you need to be added to a route, please contact the Transportation Department at 642-3530.
During last week alone, approximately 7,000 meals have been served through the district’s bus delivery.
