UC Police Arrest 2 For Impersonating Officers

Union City, Tenn.–Two men were arrested for impersonating police officers by the Union City Police.

According to the press release, Officers Blakely Lively and Jacob Rogers responded to the 1300 block of Mercer Street in reference to a possible domestic.

While investigating the complaint, officers spoke to the complainants, Antonio Robertson and Kevin Horton. While speaking to the subjects, Antonio Robertson identified himself as a Nashville Metro police officer. Kevin Horton identified hims self as a Kenton police officer. Both subjects were armed with handguns and wearing badges.

Lively and Rogers noticed the badges were actually marked as “Security” and not from the respective agencies they said they were with.

Nashville Metro and Kenton Police Department were contacted and confirmed the two subjects did not work at their agencies. Both Robertson and Horton were arrested for impersonation of a police officer and Unlawful possession of a weapon.
