
Paris, Tenn.—The State Department of Health is now reporting four positive cases for COVID-19.
According to data provided by Henry County Medical Center, two of those patients are currently hospitalized there. A third is self-quarantined. The fourth is not showing up on HCMC statistics and may have been tested by a private physician not associated with the hospital.
HCMC provides a daily chart on its website which shows the status of COVID-19 in Henry County.
Statewide, the COVID-19 case count is now 2,845 as of April 2, 2020, including 32 deaths, 263 hospitalizations and 220 recovered. In our area, Carroll still at 5; Benton, 4; Obion 2; Weakley 2; Dyer at 5 and Gibson now at 6.
