
Nashville, Tenn.–The number of new unemployment claims in Tennessee has jumped from 2,702 to 94,492 in two weeks. In data released this morning, the State Department of Labor and Workforce Development reported the number of new claims filed for the week ending March 14 was 2,702. That climbed to 39,096 for the week ending March 21 and is now is at 94,492.
