Forever Communications To Air Community Prayer Service On Our Radio Stations

The Forever Communications radio stations of Northwest Tennessee will air a Community Prayer Service on Good Friday and then again on Saturday at noon.

In Paris, Station Manager Lance Pierce will provide opening remarks and introduction of the speakers: Henry County Mayor Brent Greer, Paris City Mayor and TVCC Minister Carlton Gerrell and Cottage Grove Mayor David Jackson, who also is minister at the Cottage Grove Church of Christ and marketing executive for Forever in Paris and McKenzie.

The prerecorded broadcast will be presented on WTPR FM 101.7 FM and 710 AM; Big Henry 104.7 and 97.5 FM, Rocky 105.5, and The Lake WLZK 94.1 FM. (Big Henry is the former WMUF).

In Union City, WENK 95.5 FM AM 1240 and Froggy 94.3 FM will be airing a prayer session at the same time Good Friday and Saturday but there will be different presenters each day.

Over WENK and Froggy, Marketing Executive and long-time radio personality Jim Adcock will be presenting opening remarks and the speakers.  Obion County Director of Schools Tim Watkins will begin the broadcast, followed by Reverend Dr. Douglas Norfleet, minister at the Union City First United Methodist Church, and Timothy Houston minister for the First Street Church of Christ in Union City.

Saturday speakers will include in addition to Watkins and Adcock, local ministers Elder Curtis McClendon pastor for Emmanuel Church of God in Christ in Tiptonville and Brent Arnold, minister of the Greenfield Church of Christ.
