Several Area Counties Showing COVID-19 Increases

Several of our area counties are showing gradual increases in their COVID-19 positive case counts, with Henry County now at 8; Carroll County at 11; Dyer County at 22; Gibson County 20; and Weakley at 6.

Other counties in our county which are staying steady the last couple days are: Obion County, 8; Benton 4; Stewart 4; and Houston 3. As reported previously, Obion County has suffered one death due to COVID-19.

According to today’s update from the State Department of Health, the COVID-19 case count for Tennessee is now 5,610 as of April 13, 2020, including 109 deaths, 579 hospitalizations and 1,671 recovered.
