Dover, Tenn.–Thanks to Manna Cafe, local churches, Brigham Hardware, Piggly Wiggly, volunteers and Stewart County Emergency Management today: Together they handed out 189 food boxes, delivering 40 to shut-in residents in Stewart County.
The Manna Cafe food truck will be passing out perishable and nonperishable food items again on April 21, 2020 at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center.
The church is located at 208 Church St. and will start the giveaway at 10 a.m.
In order to receive the food, bring a photo ID and proof of Stewart County residency. Dover Police Department will be directing traffic at the church, so stay in your vehicles and instructions will be provided. Prior to arrival, volunteers ask that you clean out a space in your car for the box of food.
If you received food from Manna Cafe in the last month, you will not be eligible to receive one on the 21st. If you are in need of more, contact Gary Dacus.
