Paris, Tenn.–The W.G. Rhea Library is initiating a Letters of Love campaign to connect families with senior citizens in a pen pal, letter-writing campaign. Library officials said the current quarantine is creating loneliness and isolation and it is hoped the Letters of Love program can reduce those feelings.
Medical professionals have said sending letters is safe: the letters will be held two days as a precaution.
Address letters to Chateau Maurice, 1101 Volunteer Dr.; Morningside, 350 Volunteer Dr.; and Eiffel Gardens at 1025 Volunteer Dr. And always include ‘Attn. Letters of Love” and include a return address if you want a letter back from one of the residents.
