Mayfield, Ky.–The Graves County Health Department today is reporting there now are 82 positive COVID-19 cases in the county. This is a jump from 68 cases reported by the health department on Monday.

A large number of the positive cases are from the Mills Manor Nursing Home in Mayfield.

Officials at Mills Manor posted an update on its Facebook page today, reporting that the nursing home had issued 85 tests. Of that, there are 20 residents who have positive COVID-19 results who are in-house and an additional 41 residents recovering in the hospital.

According to Mills Manor, 23 staff members had confirmed positive test results and are being quarantined at home. Several residents have returned to the home healthy and a few staff members have been able to return to work this week, they said.

Six former residents of Mills Manor have sadly died in the hospital.
