Graves Co. COVID-19 Positive Cases Now Total 105, With 3 New Deaths

Mayfield, Ky.–The steadily increasing number of COVID-19 positive cases in Graves County is now at 105, with Governor Andy Beshear reporting Friday that three more deaths in Graves County have been reported.

Thursday’s total of positive cases was 97 and Wednesday’s total was 87. This is an increase from 82 reported Tuesday and a jump from 68 cases reported Monday.

According to the County Health Department, the newest cases are two women in their 80s, two women in their 70s, two women in their 90s, one woman in her 20s and a man in his 40s. All are reported in isolation at their homes.

The bulk of the cases stem from an outbreak at the Mills Nursing and Rehab Center in Mayfield, where dozens of residents and staff have tested positive. There also have been six COVID-19 deaths reported at the nursing home.
