Graves Co. Positive COVID-19 Cases Now 118

Mayfield, Ky.–The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Graves County is now at 118, with the Graves County Health Department reporting that three of the patients have died.

The total of positive cases in Graves County have been steadily and dramatically rising. Friday’s total was 105; Thursday’s total of positive cases was 97 and Wednesday’s total was 87. This is an increase from 82 reported Tuesday and a jump from 68 cases reported Monday.

The Graves County Health Department today reported the three patients who have passed include a woman in her 80s and two women in their 70s.

Of the remainder, they include a woman in her 60s in isolation at home; a woman in her 50s in isolation at home; a man in his 20s in isolation at home; two women in their 40s in isolation at home; a woman in her 70s in isolation at home; two women in their 60s in isolation at home; a woman in her 60s at the hospital; a woman in her 90s at the hospital; two women in their 50s in isolation at home.

The bulk of the cases stem from an outbreak at the Mills Nursing and Rehab Center in Mayfield, where dozens of residents and staff have tested positive. Six patients at the nursing home have passed.

The Marshall County Health Department on Sunday morning reported their total of positive cases is now at 31. Calloway County’s total is 29.
