Union City, Tenn.–Blood supplies are low as several blood drives have been cancelled due to fears over the COVID-19 pandemic. LIFELINE Bloodmobile has assured the public that donating blood is safe.
Two blood drives will be held today: 1-7 p.m. at the E.W. James in Union City; and 12-5 p.m. at the Sam’s Club in Jackson.
Blood types that are extremely low right now are O Neg, O Pos, B NEg, B Pos and A Neg.
