Cleveland, Ohio–Former Union City High School and Middle Tennessee State University Football Standout Javonte Moffatt has signed as a free agent with the Cleveland Browns.
MTSU congratulated Moffatt on his signing on its twitter account. He was team captain of the MTSU football team and set a record for games played with 55 and with his record of 313 tackles he was tied for fifth all-time at MTSU.
At Union City, he excelled in several sports, earning letters in football, basketball, baseball and track and was on Union City’s State Championship teams in 2013 and 2014.
