
Paris, Tenn.–Six people from Henry and Carroll Counties were taken into custody on drug charges after being arrested at a Paris motel on drug charges.
Arrested were Walter Mileski, age 50, 142 Walnut St., Paris; Chelsie Bazzell, age 25, Pioneer Road, Henry; Christian Runyon, age 26, 410 Antioch Harbor Rd., Springville; Taylor Parrish, age 20, W. Magnolia St., McKenzie; Jacob Saulters, age 20, McKenzie; and Bryan King, age 31, of Huntingdon.
According to the Paris Police report, officers were called to the Sunrise Inn on North Market St. Monday afternoon on a report of suspicious activity. Investigator Jeramye Whitaker said in the report the manager said there was a lot of foot traffic going in and out of one of the room and that other patrons at the motel had complained.
After Parrish answered the door, Whitaker and Investigator Derrek Colley found the six in the room and determined that Saulters was wanted on an outstanding warrant in Carroll County. With their consent, Whitaker and Colley searched the occupants and Whitaker noticed white residue on the dresser. He said to Parrish it looked like meth ice and and she answered that it probably was.
At that point, the officers received permission to search the room and found a bag with meth ice, three sets of digital scales, a glass pipe, a bottle of unidentified pills, and small plastic bags.
All of the six were charged with possession with intent to sell and manufacture and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.
Bond for King, Runyon and Saulters was set at $25,000 each and bond for Mileski was set at $15,000; Bazzell at $12,000; and Parrish at $10,000.
