Union City, Tenn.–An Obion County woman and her daughter have been busy making face masks for those who need them–so busy in fact, that they have made 1,820 of them.
Obion County Family and Community Education Club Member Amy Wall and her daughter Kelly Martin donated all of the masks to several organizations, including the Women’s Clinic, Obion and Lake County Schools, Fulton County EMT, a Mississippi prison, Chicago doctors, Fulton Post Office, Etheridge House Senior Living, Cancer Center in Union City, Fulton Nursing Home, Union City Water, New York doctors and their families, Lake County Nursing Home and South Gate Nursing in Missouri.
According to the UT Extension office in Obion County, the duo donated 455 hours to the project, which is valued at $8,740.
