Erin, Tenn.–One person died and another was rescued at an accident site in the Houston County Industrial Park today. No details will be released until next of kin are notified.
At approximately 9:03 a.m., Houston County Fire Department crews responded to the Houston County Industrial park for a report of a man trapped resulting in one rescue and one fatality, according to a Facebook post from the fire department late Friday afternoon.
The city of Erin reported on its Facebook page, “The City is saddened to report the rescue efforts of the incident today at the Erin Sewer Plant resulted in a recovery mission. No City Employees were injured, until next of kin is located no other details will be released.”
Erin FD officials said, “The valiant efforts of our members, Erin Fire, Erin Utilities, 911, as well as Dickson City Fire, and Montgomery County SORT are greatly appreciated.”
