Union City, Tenn.–A Union City man was arrested for DUI and drug possession after he smashed his truck into a home on Greenwood St.
Arrested was Joshua Dajuan Cox, age 35.
Officers responded to 401 Greenwood St. on a report that a vehicle had struck a house. A gray Dodge truck had struck the front corner of the house and the driver was still inside the truck when officers arrived.
Officers detected the odor of alcohol and marijuana on Cox and he was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.
Inside Cox’s vehicle officers found a clear plastic bag containing 4.27 grams of marijuana in the center console and a half empty bottle of Hennessy in the passenger area of the truck.
