Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a property in the northern part of the county investigating a situation involving child abuse, animal abuse, weapons and drugs.
Sheriff Monte Belew said around 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon that deputies also have found a child living in a cage on the property, which is in the northern part of the county.
Deputies also have found a large amount of marijuana growing and has seized weapons at the property.
“That’s all we’re able to release right now,” Belew said. More details will be released at a press conference Friday morning.
