Paris, Tenn.–As it does each year at this time, the Paris Police Department is reminding everyone that fireworks are prohibited inside the city limits of Paris.
Police Chief Chuck Elizondo reminds everyone of Paris Municipal Code 7-401 which prohibits fireworks and which reads:
“The manufacture, distribution, sale, storage, possession, use, or discharge of any fireworks is expressly prohibited within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Tennessee.
Violators will be cited and fireworks will be seized.”
