Celebrate 4th Of July With Day-Long Events At Discovery Park

Union City, Tenn.–Discovery Park of America will be open on the Fourth of July with several outdoor historical activities in different areas of the park. Discovery Park employees and guests will be following safe social distancing guidelines during each program outside. There will also be hand sanitizer stations inside the museum and throughout the outdoor heritage park.

11:30 a.m. Boston Tea Party at the Chapel
Help reenact the Boston Tea Party, a famous event that changed the course of American History.

1:30 p.m. Ringing of the Bell Ceremony at the Chapel
“Let’s ring freedom bells!” Celebrate this nationally-recognized event with patriotic music. We will end this program with the reading of the Declaration of Independence and ringing of our Liberty Bell.

3 p.m. Revolutionary Spies at the Settlement
