
Paris, Tenn.–Paris Quota recently presented five scholarships at the first in-person meeting the group has held since the pandemic began. The meeting was held at the Lee Academy Lunchroom.
Scholarship Chairman Suzanne Richter welcomed three of the recipients and their guests to the meeting and told about the procedure of choosing the scholarship recipients. Members of the scholarship committee introduced each recipient.
Recipients in attendance were:
Laynee Thornton and her dad. Laynee will be a junior at MTSU, majoring in Nursing.
Chase Wyrick and his mom were present. Chase will be a sophomore at UT Martin, majoring in Finance.
Julia Hendrix and her mom were present. Julia will be a junior at UT Chattanooga, majoring in Secondary Education.
Emilee Brown, 2020 Henry County High School Senior and returning college student, Brianna Ross were unable to attend. Emilee will be a freshman at UT Martin, majoring in Business Management and Brianna will be finishing up her studies in Diagnostic Medical Sonography at Baptist College of Health Sciences in Memphis.
The Paris Quota Club congratulates all 5 of these scholarship recipients.
