COVID-19 Cases Continue To Rise In Area; Obion Co. Records 4th Death

The number of positive COVID-19 cases continues to rise in our area on a daily basis and Obion County is now reporting its fourth death.

With today’s update from the Tennessee Department of Health, Henry County now has exceeded the 100-mark, with 106 total positive cases and 48 active, and as was reported previously, one death.

Obion County’s total is now 276, with 167 active cases and four deaths.

The total COVID-19 case count for Tennessee is now 93,936 as of July 26, 2020 including 967 deaths, 4,244 hospitalizations and 54,730 recovered.

Also in our area, as of today, July 26:

Benton County is recording 47 total cases, 19 active cases and one death.

Carroll County: 128 total cases, 82 active cases and two deaths.

Dyer County: 436 total cases, 244 active cases, five deaths.

Gibson County: 409 total cases, 258 active cases, one death.

Stewart County: 58 total cases, 36 active cases.

Weakley County: 149 total cases, 90 active cases, one death.
