Paris, Tenn.–Multiple community groups in Henry County have been participating in the Red Sand project, which brings public attention to the growing public health issue posed by human trafficking.
Several agencies participated in red sand pourings Thursday, including the county health department, Youth Villages, city of Paris, Paris Civic Center, Henry County Medical Center, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, WRAP, Henry County Schools, Department of Children’s Services and the Paris Special Schools District.
The Eiffel Tower in Paris also is lit up red in observance of the project.
